The COVID Blues? Count Your Blessings...

Updated: Nov 22, 2020

Have the COVID blues? Many of us are adjusting to a new normal. When will it end? Will we be able to socialize again? Will I be able to have dinner parties again? Will I have to continue to wear a mask? Will I be able to hug again or even date again? Cough, without people running away or assuming that I have the virus? Will there be high school graduation ceremonies again? Can I visit my grandparents? Can I enjoy a indoor concert or movie again? Can I walk through a shopping mall again? How much sanitizer and toilet paper is enough? Can I travel on an airplane with the vent open anymore? Will the amusement parks open again? Will the holidays be the same without family gatherings?

Do I have answers to all these questions? Absolutely not....but what I do have are treasured memories of people I have met along the way, places I have travelled during my lifetime, & opportunities I have seized to live life to the fullest. As I reflect on 2020, the answers to these questions. are not at all that important as realizing that I am still here to ask questions.....The truth of the matter is we must not forget those who are no longer here to receive the answers. Be grateful, remain humble, and count your blessings......
